The Caster Chronicals Chapter 1
"Wake up Julia!" said a voice peircing in my ears.
It was my mom waking me up. "It's your orientation for Ravenwood Today, honey. You're going to find out what school you're in!" she said. " But I already know what school I'm going to be in, mom!", I said. I come from a long line of life wizards. Debra Caster, Life: my mom Laurie Caster,Life: My grandmother Kestrel Caster,Life: my great- grandmother Katie Caster,Life: my great-great grandmother. My lots of greats grandmother even helped establish the life school! So, I assume I'm going to be in the life school. As I'm getting dressed, I hear a knock on my bedroom door. "Julia, It's-" I stopped her in her speech. I knew who she was. I opened the door of my room. "TAYLOR!!!!" I yelled. It was my best friend in the world. " Are you here to go to the orientation with me?", I asked Taylor. " No. I took my orientaion yesterday." she said." AND-" I said. " I'm a myth wizard!" she said. We both screamed. I was really happy for her. "So what are you doing here?" I said. " I'm here to help you move into your dorm room." she said. "But I have to know what school I'm in to find out what wing I'm in." I said, worried. " Oh. well. I'll just wait for you here. OH MY GOSH!!! YOU NEED TO GO YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!!" she said. So I left. The orientation room was filled with people just like me. I sat down and Mr. Lincon gave me the test. After the orientation, I went into the commons and looked around for a while. But I didn't feel the earth like my mom kept describing. I just kept feeling a cold chill in the air- and it felt comforting. Then I heard Headmaster Ambrose call my name. I ran over there, wondering what it was about. "Julia, we have the most interesting results from your orientation..............
